At first glance Erlang appears to be a bizarre language, the likes of which you have never seen. Its crazy syntax, functional nature and application development style is so different than the majority of languages that most of use. Once you get to know Erlang a little, though, you'll start to understand that different is beautiful.

In 10 minutes I'll give you a quick introduction to Erlang's syntax, including its powerful pattern matching, by going through FizzBuzz, a simple programming exercise. Be warned: you may leave with a curious desire to learn more about this language.
